Fitch affirms University Hospital’s ‘BBB’ rating

Fitch Ratings affirmed the “BBB” rating on Newark, N.J.-based University Hospital’s $254.98 million of series 2015A bonds.

The rating affirmation is based on several factors, including the essentiality of UH’s services and its objective to operate as Newark’s safety net hospital.

The outlook is stable.
