Fitch affirms Regional West Health Services’ ‘BBB+’ rating

Fitch Ratings assigned Scottsbluff, Neb.-based Regional West Health Services a “BBB+” issuer default rating and affirmed its “BBB+” rating for a series 2016A bond.

The rating reflects the system’s dominant market position and financial benefits from its investment in the Loveland, Colo.-based Medical Center of the Rockies, as well as its fast debt amortization schedule.

The rating outlook is negative.
