Concurrently, Fitch assigned an issuer default rating of “A” to the healthcare district.

The assignment and affirmation is a result of the healthcare district’s stable operating profile, low leverage and ample liquidity. Fitch also acknowledged the healthcare district’s high reliance on Medicaid payers and weak service area.

The outlook is stable.

Sierra View Local Health Care District oversees Sierra View Medical Center, a 167-bed, full service facility in Porterville.
