The platform, which is integrated with ezCAC and ezCDI, is built with advanced Natural Language Processing capabilities, which includes computational linguistics, semantic web, knowledge graphing and machine learning, according to a news release.
Overall, the release states, ezAssess aims to transform the coding audit process “from a retrospective, stand-alone process into an automated, real-time, proactive/collaborative and effective revenue cycle compliance solution.”
The platform includes an advanced case-search and selection module, as well as an integrated reporting module and an integrated encoder for auditing. Additionally, ezAssess generates an automated audit report for each audited case and comes with a coder feedback center where audited cases are displayed to the coder.
