Epic, TransUnion integrate tech, Apple Pay allows nonprofit donations & more — 9 RCM keynotes

Here are nine recent updates from revenue cycle management companies.

1. TransUnion Healthcare integrated its Patient Financial Clearance solutions with the Epic Outgoing Address Verification Query Interface.

2. Syncordia Technologies and Healthcare Solutions signed new client contracts at Billing Solutions representing more than 30 percent growth. 

3. Aprima Medical Software, a provider of EHR, practice management and revenue cycle management solutions for medical practices, introduced a new, integrated cloud-based faxing solution from Kno2, a healthcare workflow optimization company.

4. iHealth Innovations, a revenue performance and advisory company for physician practices and medical groups, now offers Wellness and Revenue Assistance Program services.

5. Change Healthcare, a provider of software and analytics, network solutions and technology-enabled services released a Merchant Services enhancement to its SmartPay solution.

6. Apple's electronic payment service Apple Pay can now facilitate donations to nonprofits in the U.S.

7. West Tennessee Healthcare in Jackson expanded its business relationship with MedeAnalytics to include patient access and denials management capabilities.

8. Ontario Systems introduced the Artiva HCx solution. 

9. Health Services Integration, a subsidiary of revenue cycle management company Syncordia Technologies and Healthcare Solutions, added Jerry LeCato, a seasoned operations executive and corporate development officer, to its team.
