Emdeon is set to acquire analytics vendor Altegra Health for $910 million. Emdeon intends to acquire Altegra with a combination of cash and proceeds from new debt and equity financingGenesis Healthcare Solutions and Azalea Health partnered to offer healthcare providers end-to-end revenue cycle management and practice management services.

Procura, a national software vendor based in San Francisco, made its revenue cycle management solutions available to the entire home care marketplace.

Optum360 partnered with Salucro Healthcare Solutions to provide healthcare providers with patient payment services. Optum360 will now offer patient payment processing through Salucro’s platform, which offers patients 12 different payment options at the facility, over the phone or online.

Bolder Healthcare Solutions, based in Louisville, Ky., acquired The RIO Companies, based in Timonium, Md. ROI provides revenue cycle management services including billing, self-pay billing, coding, eligibility, consulting, cash acceleration and collections.
