The funds will be used for major renovations and improvements at the hospital. Plans include remodeling and expanding the emergency department as well as the inclusion of new surgical suites, patient rooms and family areas. Spaces for sterile processing, radiology imaging and laboratory services will also be remodeled or expanded.
Construction is expected to begin in early 2015.
