UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital completes $11M construction, renovation

 

UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., has almost completed an $11 million construction and renovation project, according to a report by The Gainesville Sun.

The project included adding a standalone entrance, lobby, reception desk and elevators in the hospital. It also included renovating the pediatric emergency room.

 

In the future, the hospital plans on renovating the neonatal intensive care unit, according to the report.
