With the assistance of a new team member, the Center hopes to advance efforts to identify and support potential whistle-blowers who have specific information on Medicare fraud or overbilling at nursing homes in Southern and Northern California or at other types of healthcare organizations, including hospitals.

“We already know that Medicare fraud in California is a gigantic problem and we would be eager to partner with a medical doctor to advance our initiatives to help Medicare fraud whistle-blowers step forward,” Center officials said.
