The agreement extends Conifer’s partnership with Evanston, Ill.-based NorthShore University HealthSystem, which acquired the single-hospital system in January 2021, according to a May 23 Conifer news release.

NorthShore selected Conifer because of its track record with the health system; Conifer and Northshore have partnered for 21 years. Conifer has increased and accelerated collections for the health system, reduced delays in accounts receivable, reduced initial denial rate, reduced no response accounts receivable and expanded coding services, the release said.
