Under the proposed rules, aggregate payments to skilled nursing facilities would increase by 2 percent or $750 million in fiscal year 2015. The rule for the inpatient rehabilitation facility prospective payment system would increase reimbursement by 2.2 percent, or $160 million. Inpatient psychiatric facility payment rates would increase by 2.1 percent, or $100 million in increased payments.
CMS will accept comments on all three rules through June 30.
