Here are three other findings from Cleveland Clinic’s reports, which examined 2013 data.
1. The Cleveland Clinic had a $12.6 billion economic impact on Northeast Ohio and the state in 2013. Cleveland Clinic activities also supported more than 93,000 jobs in Ohio, representing more than $5.9 billion in total earnings.
2. Cleveland Clinic Florida, one of the largest employers in Broward County, had a total economic output of up to $783 million, including 5,300 jobs and $365 million in wages and benefits.
3. Cleveland Clinic’s presence in the Clark County region of Nevada added up to an economic output of $35.3 million, including 210 jobs and $14.6 million in wages and benefits.
