Goodall CEO Darlene Stromstad cited “the changing landscape of government reimbursement, skyrocketing costs, increasing regulation and a drive to improve quality” as reasons to join MaineHeath, which has seven hospitals, including 606-bed Maine Medical Center.

Since January, Goodall has laid off 30 full-time-equivalent employees and implemented employee pay cuts of 4-10 percent, according to the York County (Me.) Journal-Tribune.
