The contract includes the Streamline Health eValuator as well as pre- and post-bill diagnosis-related group auditing services, according to Streamline. Through the contract, South Shore becomes a “charter” member of the pre-bill auditing software.
“Whether doing coding in-house or outsourcing, we felt we needed to adopt Streamline Health’s workflow for the assurance it would provide. The idea of using eValuator to screen every coded record for potential errors in real-time before billing made perfect sense.
