Ms. DiPietro began her career as an assistant manager of financial accounting for International Shipholding Corp. before becoming a senior auditor with Ernst & Young. Her switch to healthcare occurred in 1994 when she was hired as a senior accountant for budget and reimbursement for St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
In addition to her role at the hospital, Ms. DiPietro teaches undergraduate and graduate-level healthcare financial management at the University of Phoenix and serves as treasurer on the board of directors for New Heights Therapy Center, a therapeutic equestrian center for individuals with disabilities and special needs.
Ms. DiPietro is also a member of the Active Partnership Finance Committee and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
