CFO Lugene Inzana: Maine Medical Center's seasoned financial expert and leader

Lugene "Lou" Inzana, MBA, CPA, serves as senior vice president of finance and CFO for Maine Medical Center in Portland, a role he has held since March.

In his current role, Mr. Inzana provides leadership and financial oversight of Maine Medical Center and financial support services for the other members of MaineHealth. Specifically, he serves as a key strategic and financial advisor to the president and CEO of MMC and is responsible for budget and reimbursement, financial reporting, supply chain, financial planning and revenue cycle management.

With nearly three decades of progressive leadership experience at organizations throughout the Northeast, Mr. Inzana is no stranger to healthcare finance. Prior to joining MMC, Mr. Inzana was most recently vice president of finance and support services and CFO of Lawrence + Memorial Corp./Hospital in New London, Conn.

Mr. Inzana is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is also an active volunteer, serving on a wide range of boards and committees for organizations that promote stronger communities.
