Under Mr. Smith’s leadership as senior vice president and CFO, Onslow Memorial posted nearly 2.2 million in non-operating income and reinvested more than $1.5 million back into the community in fiscal year 2012 alone.
Previously, Mr. Smith served as CFO for Welborn Memorial Baptist Hospital in Evansville, Ind. (purchased by St. Mary’s Health in Evansville in 1999), Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Va., and Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, N.C.
He is a member of the Rotary Club of Jacksonville (N.C.) and serves on the boards of several nonprofit community organizations including the Onslow United Transit System, the Zing Zumm Children’s Museum of Jacksonville, and the PEERS Family Development Center.
