CFO David K. Stewart: Financial leader, volunteer and basketball coach

David K. Stewart has served as senior vice president and CFO of Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio, since 2013.

As CFO, Mr. Stewart’s responsibilities include the hospital’s revenue cycle, finances, strategic planning, decision-making support and operations.

Prior to joining Mercy, Mr. Stewart served as senior vice president and CFO of Providence Hospitals in Columbia, S.C., for six years. He also served as vice president of operations and finance and CFO of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland and St. John Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio, for seven years.

Mr. Stewart has also actively volunteered in his community, working with Junior Achievement and coaching basketball. Hobbies of his include golf, photography and guitar.
