Patients buying HealthSpan plans through the exchange will be limited to receiving care within CHP’s hospitals, physician practices and other providers. Ken Page, president and CEO of HealthSpan, told the Inquirer that even though patients will have limited options, it will result in more coordinated, lower-cost care.
In total, HealthSpan will offer six individual and four small group health plans. The federal government will run Ohio’s exchange.
