CaroMont Health begins $16.5M ED renovation

Gastonia, N.C.-based CaroMont Health embarked on a $16.5 million emergency department renovation at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

The project will create more space to include a larger waiting area, four private triage rooms and a care transition area. The hospital also plans on including a pediatric care space with a separate waiting area and treatment rooms.

The renovation is expected to be completed in 2016.
