BCBS of Texas sends duplicate bills to some Medicare members

Richardson-based Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas charged some customers in the state’s Brazos Valley area twice for their monthly premium, reports KBTX News.

In response to KBTX’s questioning, BCBST said “a small portion of our Medicare members in Texas received a duplicate bill for March services.” 

The insurer added that the error has been “resolved” and BCBST “immediately reversed any charges and fees for those impacted,” the report states.
