Aviacode provides medical coding and compliance services for physician groups, hospitals and payers nationwide.
In a news release, Aviacode said the acquisition provides greater access to professional, AAPC and AHIMA certified medical coders.
“Today’s medical coding industry is comprised mostly of domestic-only or global-focused players that present challenges of cost and quality,” added Keith Hagen, Aviacode Board Chairman and CEO. “The marketplace is looking for a trusted one-stop coding solution — where providers have the choice of coding service delivery that meets their specific needs while having the reliability of proven U.S.-based coding management. This expansion enables Aviacode to deliver on this mission.”
This is Aviacode’s second acquisition this year. The company also acquired the assets of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based medical coding company Revant Solutions in January.
