Avera Health looking at restructuring about $80M of its bonds

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Health said it is exploring various options related to “tendering, purchasing, refinancing or restructuring” some or all of its 2019B bonds.

The total amount of the bonds is $77.2 million, according to the June 27 filing.

The 37-hospital system reported an operating loss of $13.3 million for the nine months ending March 31.
