Before the November enrollment period, major components of the website will be revamped and new functions will be added. The website will implement a new system to automate payments to insurers and add a new comparison tool that helps consumers find the best insurance plan for their specific needs, according to the report.
HealthCare.gov will also begin using Amazon’s cloud computing services to host many of its functions, and will have a new visual design that will make the website easier to view on mobile devices.
