Here are four things to know about Ms. Hickman.
1. She has more then 20 years of healthcare RCM experience.
2. Prior to joining Access Healthcare, Ms. Hickman was vice president of risk adjustment-HCC strategy and business development at Lombard, Ill.-based MiraMed Global Services.
3. During her time at MiraMed, she was involved in the development and implementation of a new risk adjustment service line and developed a 21-module training program for medical coders, among other accomplishments, according to a news release.
4. Ms. Hickman also previously was director of clinical programs at Zica Group, based in Indianapolis, and senior management consultant at Woburn, Mass.-based Culbert Healthcare Solutions.
