Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas announced the new 2.1-million-square-foot, 17-story Parkland hospital will officially open to patients Aug. 20. The new Parkland hospital has 862 beds.

Birmingham, Ala.-based Doster Construction Company announced it will immediately begin building a $27.3 million physician office at Mobile, Ala.-based USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital.
