Here are seven healthcare industry CFOs who were recently in the news.

1. Charles Ayscue, senior vice president of finance and CFO of Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health was in the news discussing financial and strategic challenges health systems are facing.

2. Gerard F. Blaney was in the news as he was named CFO of Philadelphia-based Einstein Healthcare Network.

3. Tulare (Calif.) Regional Medical Center CFO Alan Germany was in the news discussing the hospital's financial picture.

4. South Boston, Va.-based Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital CFO Stewart R. Nelson was in the news as he was named CFO of Sentara Blue Ridge Division, effective Jan. 5, 2018.

5. Onel Rodriguez was in the news as he was named CFO of Broward Health Coral Springs (Fla.).
