Health Management Associates Names Chief Nursing Executive

Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates has promoted Pamela Rudisill, RN, MSN, to the newly created position of vice president and chief nursing executive.

Ms. Rudisill has served as Health Management’s vice president of nursing and patient safety for the last four years. In her new position, she will develop the vision and strategic direction for the delivery of patient care and the practice of nursing at Health Management’s 70 hospitals.

Ms. Rudisill is an immediate past president of the American Organization of Nurse Executives. She has been with Health Management since 1996.
