The 194,888-square-foot expansion will be built next to the existing facility and include an outpatient surgical wing. The first floor will include lobby, registration and waiting area, private preoperative suites, a minimum of eight surgical suites and recovery areas. The lower level will hold support areas, a relocated receiving dock and a trash enclosure. The second, third and fourth levels will be allocated for outpatient services.
Between 100 and 125 employees will be added to staff the wing.
Construction is slated to begin late 2017.
