St. Luke’s Hospital plans $300M expansion

Duluth, Minn.-based St. Luke’s Hospital plans to invest $300 million to expand in downtown Duluth, according to a CBS-3 news report.

The expansion calls for building an addition onto the main hospital for outpatient services, a new parking ramp and a renovated emergency room.

Construction will take place over a 10-year period. Funding will come through bonds and donations.

The project was announced at a Duluth City Council meeting Nov. 19.
