The new facility will replace Scripps Mercy Hospital’s 36-bed inpatient behavioral health unit and is expected to be completed in 2023. Acadia Healthcare operates 586 healthcare facilities in 40 states, the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico.

While the facility is under construction, Scripps will invest over $1 million in its existing inpatient behavioral health unit for safety upgrades.
