SCL Health Community Hospital – Northglenn opens to patients: 4 things to know

Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health has opened a new hospital in Northglenn, Colo.

Here are four things to know.

1. The 60,000-square-foot SCL Health Community Hospital – Northglenn features an emergency department with surgical capabilities, an eight-bed inpatient unit, an advanced imaging center and laboratory services, said SCL Health.

2. The hospital campus also includes specialty services for cardiology, gastroenterology and podiatry, according to a news release.

3. The hospital came to fruition through a joint venture agreement between SCL Health and Emerus Hospitals, a developer of microhospitals.

4. SCL Health Community Hospital – Northglenn is the latest of three hospitals built through SCL Health’s partnership with Emerus, according to the release. An additional facility is being built in Aurora, Colo., and scheduled to open later in February, the release states.
