The first phase of the project will be a 250,000-square-foot, eight-story office building called the Center for Healthcare Technology, which will be focused on information technology and human resources. A second phase of the project will add an additional 290,000 square feet and 10 stories, bringing the tower to a total height of 18 stories and 540,000 square feet, according to the report.
Philadelphia’s Civic Design Review board will consider the proposed expansion during an Aug. 2 meeting.
If approved, construction is expected to begin in early 2017.
