Over the next 18 months, Owensboro Health will build three new healthcare centers in Western Kentucky, including in Henderson, Madisonville and Muhlenberg. The outpatient facilities, some of which will exceed 40,000 square feet, will offer primary and urgent care, specialty services, outpatient testing, patient education and wellness care.
The health system’s $65 million project is being done in partnership with Los Angeles-based CBRE Healthcare, a commercial real estate services and investment firm. In the first quarter of 2016, Owensboro Health extended their relationship with CBRE to provide onsite planning, project management and facility activation services for the construction of the three outpatient facilities.
The overall program schedule targets completion of all projects by the end of December 2017.
