NYU Lutheran purchased 32,000 square feet of space in Sunset Park for $12.1 million. Benjamin Maintenance LLC sold the property, at 5718 Second Ave., in an off-market deal that went directly to closing without contract.
Representative brokers said the deal was “aggressive” due to the property’s close proximity to the hospital, according to Crain’s. The property was never listed.
The building will be used mainly for patient care, according to Crain’s.
