Novant hospital to open $49M inpatient wing

Clemmons (N.C) Medical Center, owned by Charlotte, N.C.-based Novant Health, will open its $49 million inpatient wing on Aug. 2, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

The new 110,000-square-foot addition to the hospital will include 36 inpatient beds, six observational beds, three operating rooms, a cafeteria and a pharmacy. 

The hospital added 100 new employees to work in the inpatient wing.  

This is the second phase of construction at Clemmons Medical Center. The first phase of construction established an emergency room, imaging center, two operating rooms and a laboratory.
