Novant Health UVA Health System Prince William Medical Center to break ground on $38M renovation

Novant Health UVA Health System Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, Va., is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony Jan. 5 to mark its final phase of renovation, according to the Potomac Local.

The new façade of the medical center, expected to be complete in December 2017, will complement the upgrades already made to the interior. The total cost of the project is $38 million.

Improvements to infrastructure, an intermediate critical care unit, mechanical room and parking were completed in earlier phases of the project designed to make the facility more patient friendly and efficient.

The new façade will help the patient experience become more comfortable by creating separate hallways for guests and patients. The project also includes a new multicultural chapel, gift shop and renovated patient information center.
