The $110 million, four-story hospital will house emergency care, surgery, labor and delivery, imaging, endoscopy and interventional services. The complex’s upper floors will comprise two floors of bed units with 32 rooms each.
Grand Island Regional Hospital represents Grand Island’s second hospital. The hospital will compete with CHI Health St. Francis, a subsidiary of Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives.
Construction on Grand Island Regional Hospital is anticipated to reach completion in October 2019 and open to patients in 2020, the report states.
