Mercy Health-Toledo begins construction on $56.3M hospital

Mercy Health-Toledo (Ohio) began construction on a $56.3 million hospital, surgical center and medical building Sept. 7, according to the Toledo Blade.

The 101,000-square-foot facility will include 46 inpatient beds, two surgical suites, a cafeteria, new pharmacy and physician offices.

The new facility, Mercy Health Perrysburg Hospital, will be built on the same campus as Perrysburg (Ohio) Medical Center, which has a free standing emergency department, diagnostic services and a cancer center.

Mercy Health expects construction to be complete in April 2019.
