The new 800,000-square-foot hospital and ambulatory care center will house 316 private rooms, a nine-story patient tower and a three-story ambulatory care center. In addition, the hospital and care center will be connected with a common space that contains a cafeteria, gift shop and chapel.
The new hospital will be located on 15 acres adjacent to the existing Saint Louis University Hospital.
The facility is expected to be completed in September 2020.
