Medistar, Bay Area Regional Medical Center partner to build ASC

Houston-based Medistar and Webster, Texas-based Bay Area Regional Medical Center partnered to build an ambulatory surgery center in Gemini, Ill., according to the Houston Chronicle.

The ASC will have two special procedure rooms and four operating rooms, with additional space to add two additional ORs, according to the article.

Officials said the outpatient center is scheduled to open later this year.
