Here are four things to know.

1. The new facility will include all private rooms.

2. The need for the new facility was driven, in part, by the growth in trauma cases and increased acuity among patients served by Atlantic Health System, according to a news release.

3.  Kindred and Atlantic Health System expect the rehabilitation facility to open by the fourth quarter of 2018.

4. Kindred’s existing services in New Jersey include three long-term acute care hospitals and hospice services.
