Hospitals of Providence breaks ground on new micro-hospital

The Hospitals of Providence, based in El Paso, Texas, began construction Sept. 14 on its Horizon City (Texas) Campus, reports El Paso Inc.

The project is a joint venture with micro-hospital operator Emerus.

The 39,508-square-foot facility will feature an emergency department, inpatient unit, laboratory and imaging services, as well as medical offices, according to the article.
