The new Franciscan Health Crown Point (Ind.) hospital and other developments aim to bring advanced healthcare services to the city. The new hospital will add to Franciscan’s other hospital in Crown Point, Franciscan Health Franciscan Point, and a facility with Fort Wayne, Ind.-based University of St. Francis.

The project will also double the size of USF’s campus and expand Franciscan Point’s orthopedic ambulatory surgery center as a center of excellence in Northwest Indiana.

The new hospital is set to open in 2022.
