Developers break ground on $41M Rock Regional Hospital

Construction on the $41 million Rock Regional Hospital in Derby, Kan., has begun.

Developed by CBC Real Estate Group, the 90,000 square-foot acute care hospital will include 24 medical/surgical beds and seven intensive care unit beds. The hospital will also feature four operating, two procedure, two heart catheterization lab and six emergency department rooms.

Southlake, Texas-based Candor Healthcare and local physicians will manage the hospital, while Colorado Springs, Colo.-based PartnersHealth will serve as operator.  

Hospital construction is expected to be complete by end of 2018.
