Here are three things to know.

1. The Davis Wellness Institute for Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation features exercise equipment and a shower, along with more space than the current rehabilitation area near the hospital, according to the report.

2. The new facility is the first phase of the wellness center, which is on the second floor of the DMC Outpatient Center, according to DMC’s CMO, Catherine Chua, DO.

3. “We hope to expand over the foreseeable future,” Dr. Chua said, according to the report. “That’s our hope … so when you come here, it’s all about wellness and prevention.”
