Colorado mental health facility to nearly double number of beds with new $32M hospital

Grand Junction, Colo.-based Mind Springs Health began construction on a new $32 million mental health hospital, which will contain nearly double the number of beds at the current facility, according to KJCT8.

The new mental health facility will be on a three-acre plot of land directly next to the old facility.

Mind Spring Health has raised around $11 million of its $17 million goal to help fund the new hospital.

The new facility is expected to open by the beginning of 2019.
