MidMichigan Health demolishes building to pave way for $57M heart and vascular center

Midland-based MidMichigan Health’s Sugnet Building was demolished Monday to begin construction on a new $57 million heart and vascular center that will take its place, according to MLive.com.

The new 160,000-square-foot heart and vascular center will include  MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland’s off-campus cardiology offices and offer interventional surgical heart and vascular services as well as non-invasive cardiovascular testing and lab and imaging services, according to Midland Daily News.   

The building will take nearly three years to construct.
