Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic receives $3M donation for expansion

Marjorie Morris and G.W. Lisk Co. have committed a combined $3 million toward the expansion of Clifton Springs (N.Y.) Hospital & Clinic, according to the Finger Lake Times.

The $32 million expansion of the hospital's primary and preventative care facilities will also include a new 75,000 outpatient medical village. Construction will begin Nov. 14.

"Marjorie, as well as her family, and G.W. Lisk continue to demonstrate extraordinary philanthropic leadership in Clifton Springs," Eric Bieber, MD, president and CEO of Rochester Regional Health, which is affiliated with the hospital, told the Finger Lake Times. "We are incredibly fortunate to have benefited from their generosity for so long. And while gifts of this magnitude are transformative, our goals in Clifton Springs and the rest of the health system will not be achieved by an individual effort. To realize our vision for the region's health care, we need broad community support."
