The 300,000-square-foot tower would increase the total bed count of the hospital campus from 72 to 240.

The tower will house specialty care programs, including oncology, cardiology, neurology and orthopedics. It will also have pharmacy, lab and imaging services.

Construction is slated to end in late 2023.

Children’s Medical Center Plano is owned by Dallas-based Children’s Health, the eighth-largest pediatric healthcare provider in the U.S.
